Such a hard night..

I won't be seeing this beautiful handsome face for FOUR WEEKS!!

Talked to Chad the whole way to work thinking everything was still the same with his work situation. I couldn't wait to see him when I got off work! Then when I get off I check my phone and have a million texts  from him and call him right away and he's already on a bus to Atlanta for work, completely not what I was expecting. First time I've cried about this whole situation and I don't like it.. But I know he is doing this for our future and I'm so proud of him. He really is the most amazing man and I don't know what I did to get so lucky. Four weeks is going to seem like forever, but I know everything will be okay and work out in the end.

Pumpkins, Apples & Friends

Sunday morning Chad had to go to work for a few hours but when he was done we were off to Ellijay with David. We stopped in Chatsworth for a fancy lunch.. Wendy's drive thru :) Then we were on to the curvy mountain roads.. There was so much traffic, I think everyone and their brother went to Ellijay the same day. I was sad because there were rescue dogs for adoption in downtown Ellijay, but Chad thinks I'm crazy and wouldn't stop haha. Our first stop was Burt's Pumpkin farm which was PACKED.. it took awhile because we didn't have good cell phone service, but we finally found Whitney and Jacob and took a few pictures and left.

Then we went to Amnicola Falls, soooo GORGEOUS! I hadn't been there since the last time Chad and I went with my parents in 2003. We spent awhile there taking tons of pictures and just walking on the trails.

After Amnicola Falls we wanted to go to an Apple Orchard but they were all already closed, but we found one that the store was still open so we stopped and got apple pies, apple sticks and apple cider donuts!

After that we were all starving and went back towards the city and ate Ruby Tuesdays.. We stayed there for hours it seemed like talking until they were closing.. It was such a good day with some of my favorite people! It was so good to see Whit!

What an UH-MAY-ZING weekend! Friday I got off work at 1 and went straight home to finish packing and then Chad and I were on the road! Stopped in Chattanooga to eat at one of our favorite places (Glen Gene's) and then we were on our way to Gatlinburg. When we got there we checked into our room and walked to all the shops and looked in EVERY single one of them. We had so much fun laughing at all the silly tshirts and people watching. We stayed in all the stores until they were closed and so were all the restaurants.. so we had to go back to the hotel and get the Jeep and went to McDonalds for midnight dinner. When we got back to our room we changed into pj's and Chad lit the fire and we laid on the couch watching Chelsea Lately until we got sleepy.. The we brushed our teeth and went to bed..

Saturday morning we woke up early and got ready then went to breakfast at Flapjacks Pancake Cabin in Pigeon Forge.. French toast, pancakes, bacon, sausage, hashbrowns, grits, sweet tea and sprite in mason jars.. Perfect breakfast! Then, it was way colder than I thought and hadn't packed any jackets besides a blue jean jacket so we stopped by the outlet mall in Pigeon Forge and Chad bought me a leopard fleece jacket from Old Navy and he got a UT hoodie :) Then we stopped by a boot store that was buy 1 get 2 pairs free, INSANE! Chad got 3 pair of amazing boots! Then we headed back to Gatlinburg and went in a few of the stores we had missed the night before.. And had icecream, chocolate covered pretzels (with sprinkles!) and a chocolate covered rice crispy.. Sooo good! Then when we thought we had run out of stores to look in we rode around for a little while and started to head home. We had such a great weekend.. I don't think we've laughed that much in a long time. It was amazing to spend the whole weekend away with each other.

This weekend!

I absolutely LOVVVEEE fall and it's finally starting to feel and look like fall outside, I'm so excited! Two more days of work and then I'm going to have an amazinggg weekend and I can't wait! Friday and Saturday me and Chad are going on our first ever vacation by ourselves! Going to Gatlinburg for the weekend to see all the leaves changing and shop around a little bit and just spend as much time together as we can before he's gone for a little while. I am ecstatic! Then Sunday I get to see one of my FAVORITE people in the whole world, my best friend, Whit. We're going to Ellijay for the day with Chad and Jacob and going to the apple festival and Burt's pumpkin farm.. LOTS and LOTS of pictures to come!

Love of my life.

I love this sweet man more than life itself. I am absolutely blessed beyond measure to call him mine. I still have to pinch myself to believe that this is real. He is the sweetest, most loving, most caring man I've ever met. Being out of town and away from him this weekend really sucked and made me realize how hard this next chapter of our life is going to be. I hate being away from him and we are about to have to deal with it for a long time.. but I am so proud of him that he is willing to make that sacrifice for himself and for our future and I know we will make it through all of this just fine :)

My Hair

So, I've had my hair lighter/redder since February of this year and I really love it. I haven't had it done since July 7th and my roots are REALLY getting BAD but I just don't know what I want to do with it.. I think I've decided to go back to how I had it before the reddish.. And go back dark with blonde tips.. I really miss this look and want my dark hair back for fall and winter.

Sunday-10.2.11

Woke up and went to church with Mom, Tosha, Cliff, Amber, Adam and the girls. Dad had to clean the dock at work and Chad was sick :( Tosha had everyone crying before and after church because the bricks she bought were ready and were right infront of the church.. One for my Mimi and one for Adam's Mom. They are beautiful and so sweet of her! Then we had lunch at Cracker Barrel, my favorite! After lunch Mom and I went to TJ Maxx and I bought 2 dresses. Then home for awhile and around 5 I had to meet up with Jonathan and Sabrina to give them sweet Josie, it was so hard because she cried the whole way to meet them, I felt bad taking her away from Mama and her brothers and sisters.. But I know she will have a great life with Cho and his girlfriend. Then Chad came and picked me up and we went out to dinner.. We started to go to the movies but he didn't feel good still so we just went home and were lazy and watched a million episodes of "I Survived" until I fell asleep from him playing with my hair and he had to wake me up to take me home :) I am seriously blessed beyond measure to have such a sweet boyfriend! HE was the one who was sick but he is still so sweet to ME playing with my hair and rubbing my back.. He always makes sure I'm happy, I'm a very very lucky girl. I couldn't ask for a better man to spend my life with.
