Shoot

I have been slacking BIG TIME in taking pictures! I hate it and am really going to try to start taking more pictures! Especially with the weather changing and the leaves changing.. There will be lots of photo opportunities :) I can't wait to go to the Apple Festival and the Pumpkin Farm! And then the picture day that me and Whit have planned since she just got a new Canon! I'm excited!

Thursday-9.29.11

Worked until 1 then brought Mom lunch and hung out with her at work and Chad came by to get the jeep looked at. After that I went home and got ready.. I was FINALLY off on a Thursday and got to go to Trivia! But most of the usual crew was busy and one was sick so it ended up only being me, Chad and David.. We started out pretty good and then knew NOTHING, we came in last place!! haha But we had fun! After Trivia I got to drive the Jeep home (LOVE IT) since I drank Sprite haha.. We stopped in Ringgold for me and David to look at Jeeps (we're jealous) and of course stupid me tries to open one of the doors (bad habit: I always check to see if they're unlocked) and the alarm went off so we had to get out of there fast!! haha Very fun night! Love hanging out with my two favorite guys and I'm so happy they get along so good!

Wednesday- 9.28.11

First of all.. Mom may kill me if she sees I posted this pic of us ;)  Worked until 1 then brought Mom lunch and went to the bank with her (when we took the picture) hung out there for awhile and then came home and played with the kitties (pictured is "Baby Mama" she's from Mama's second litter and looks just like her) Then Chad came over and we cleaned the inside of the Jeep a little and then were lazy and watched tv all night.

Monday-9.26.11

Monday+Rainy day= Lazy!! I didn't have to be at work until 3 so I just hung out around the house until I had to make myself finally get up and get ready for work. Work was slow and uneventful.. Came home and realized i hadn't eaten all day so I had a HUGE bowl of Cinnamon Toast Crunch for dinner. Then watched a little tv, talked to Chad and then went to bed.

Tuesday-9.27.11

Worked until 1 then had to rush home and change and waited on Chad to come pick me up. Then we went and picked up his Mom and were off to Atlanta to pick up his new Jeep!! The bank took forever and seemed like they had no idea what was going on, but I had fun being with Chad and Tosha all day! We got stuck in horrible traffic on the way back from Atlanta and waited until we were in Calhoun to stop and eat at Ruby Tuesday's, it was really good! Then Chad and I stopped by the outlet mall to get a Tennessee trailer hitch. Then we started making rounds to show everyone his Jeep.. first Dad, Granny B and Riley, then Amber, Adam and the girls and took them for a ride.. while we were outside at their house Gracie said the SWEETEST thing.. she pointed up at the stars and said "You see the biggest, brightest star over there? That's my Nana" then Hayneslie pointed and said "And that little tiny star over there is ShayShay" completely melted my heart! They are too sweet! Then we went home to show my Mom and he took her for a ride. On the way home we took part of the top off and Chad let me drive!! It is AMAZING, makes me want a Jeep so bad! It was amazing feeling the wind in my hair, looking up at the stars and being with Chad. I'm so happy he finally got a good car he LOVES, he deserves it!

Josie is the only kitten with a home so far and I think she'll be going to her new family this week :(

Sunday-9.25.11

We stayed out too late last night so we slept in and missed church. I was lazy until I had to get ready for work, I wore a Tennessee shirt so i could wear my new watch I got last weekend (that ALREADY needs a battery...dumb) I worked until 4, it was really slow again. When I got off work I brought home Zaxby's for Chad and I. Then we went to Walmart with my Mom because she still isn't allowed to pick anything semi-heavy up because of her surgery and I bought "To Kill a Mockingbird" because I haven't read it since high school and really love it. Then we were lazy at home and watched a million episodes of "I Survived" and had apples dipped in caramel. :) I hate when Chad has to go home.. I wish we already lived together! I'm so bored without him and miss him already!

Saturday-9.24.11

(Amazing day!) Woke up to a note back on the mirror from Mom, spent the morning cuddling with my sweet Jaxy and Lillie and playing outside with the kitties (they LOVE them). Then Chad, David and I went to Atlanta to look at a Jeep and we all fell in LOVE. It is seriously the most perfect Jeep ever and it is SO Chad! Hopefully it will be his on Monday! Can't wait! Then we went to the Mall of Georgia and I bought Chad a new watch and we walked around for awhile and ate in the food court. We stopped at Target in Kennesaw to take something back.. Then it took us about 5 hours to get home it felt like because of all the traffic we sat in. When we got back to Dalton we hung out at David's and watched tv. Fun day and i'm so glad that my boyfriend and best guy friend like each other so much, I was pretty much the third wheel all day haha Sitting in the back seat silent while they talked about guns and cars and hunting all day!

Friday-9.23.11

Today I worked 8-1, it was so slow! Then went to my Mom's work and had to get an oil change and new rear brakes, my car feels brand new again.. it's weird! Came home and changed and played with Mama's kitties for a little while; they are getting so big, it makes me sad! :( Then Chad came and picked me up and we went to Chattanooga.. Old Navy, Mac Authority, Target, Fazoli's, car shopping. When we came back to Dalton we met up with Tayler for a little while and caught up.. She is finally getting a belly and looks sooo gorgeous pregnant! She is going to be the cutest Mom ever! I absolutely can't wait until Jordan comes hmoe and Finnley is here so Tayler will be complete again!

Finally!

I feel like this week has gone by so slow but it's finally the weekend! Just got off work and went and got my car looked at.. Had to get new rear brakes and an oil change, now my car drives like it's brand new! Now I'm home to change out of my work clothes and then off to Chattanooga with my babe! I can't wait! I have missed him so much this week because of our stupid schedules, it's going to be nice to finally get some quality time together this weekend! I hope every one is having a great Friday and has a wonderful weekend!

How did i get so lucky!? I am such a quiet, keep to myself person around everyone.. But with you.. I am the WEIRDEST person alive! haha I seriously don't even see why you put up with me sometimes :) I'm so lucky that we can both be completely ourselves with each other and never feel judged. I love that we can both act like little kids around each other. I love that i can not say a word and just throw the camera up and you know to make a silly face or take a normal picture. We have what people dream about.. and I'm so thankful to have you in my life again and forever. i love you CCH, more than you will ever know!

SickDay

I slept from about 4am to 6am this morning and was up all night and morning really sick so I had to call into work because I really didn't feel like I could take care of kids the way I was feeling.. But luckily my AOM was awesome and said it was fine and she would cover it for me. So I slept some more after I took lots of medicine and spent the whole day cuddling with my baby, Dr. Jaxon who took very good care of his Mommy all day. And now I'm sitting in the recliner watching The X Factor (not too impressed yet) and blogging/pinning and helping my bestie out with her new blog. And texting one of my favorite girls from work, she text to check on me, so sweet! Hope everyone had a good day!

So, I have 4 old windows sitting in my room and sometime SOON (maybe this weekend?) I'm going to get some chicken wire, fabric and cork board and get crafty with them..

Fall is my FAVORITE time of year! The cooler weather, the changing leaves, rides through the mountains, going to the apple festival, going to the pumpkin farm, bonfires, boots, sweaters and scarfs.. I can't wait!

Macbook Charger

So my Macbook charger finally croaked.. About a year ago I had just bought a new one when my sweet new puppy Lillie decided she would eat it.. Well, I didn't want to spend another $80 right away so I've just gone a year with it balanced JUST RIGHT to make it charge and now it finally decided it was done.. Luckily my amazing boyfriend is going to pick one up on his way home from Chattanooga today, he's the best! :)

My beautiful Mimi, I miss her more and more everyday. I've cried a lot lately.. I hate to admit it but every time I see sweet little old ladies it makes me so sad and so jealous. I wasn't ready for this. She was so young, only 75. I needed her.. I needed her to see me walk down the isle to Chad one day, I needed her to be my babies amazing Great-Grandmother (like her Mom was to me-my Nana) one day. I needed her to show me the woman I aspire to be. She was one of the most amazing women I've ever had the chance of knowing, and I'm so blessed I was able to call her my Grandmother. She never met a stranger and treated everyone equally. She was so strong in her faith and had such an amazing relationship with Jesus. I know it's selfish of me, but I miss her so so much. But I am so thankful she is in heaven, no longer in any pain, cancer free, with Nana and Pop and my sweet Taylor. I can't wait to see them all again someday and meet my Pop.

And my sweet Grandpa.. it breaks my heart to see him alone.. They got married when Mimi was 19.. How do you love someone that long, as happy as they were and then have to be alone. I can't imagine.

I was in fourth grade when I met the man of my dreams, CCH; little did we know back then that we would meet up again and again and the crazy story we would have. We met again in high school, Chad was a junior (17) and I was a freshman (14). We had English classes across the hall from each other and started with glances then smiles, then we finally spoke. We went on our first date Saturday December 7, 2002. We went to the movies and brought friends along (Hunter, Whitney & Erin) it was freezing when we got out of the movie and Chad gave me his lettermans jacket and me, Whit and Erin shared it because we had to wait on my Mom to come pick us (the girls) up because we couldn't drive yet ;) By Monday December 9, 2002 we made it official and were "boyfriend & girlfriend." He was my first boyfriend and I was crazy about him. We said "I love you" after 23 days and definitely meant it. We went to EVERY high school dance and took 500 pictures at every one. We were and still are picture freaks! We were such an amazing couple all of high school, until immature, young and dumb me decided i was afraid of only dating one guy and being with him my entire life. I wanted to see what else was out there, worst decision of my life. I broke up with him, broke both of our hearts. I dated a few guys for a couple months each and none of them ever lived up to my expectations; I had already dated my perfect guy, so how could they? We tried getting back together a couple times but every time one of us wasn't all the way ready. Then we both had pretty serious relationships with other people that lasted a couple years each, but even while we were with them we always thought of each other and would end up talking again, but again somehow the timing was never right... Until, June 28, 2011 at 9:58p.m. when I needed him the most and was thinking about him all the time.. I got a text from him. I was walking out of the hospital from visiting my Grandmother when his name popped up on my phone. I don't think anything has ever "taken my breath away" until that text message. My Mimi was in the hospital for the second time in two weeks and I was missing Chad so much; then, almost as if he knew I needed him more than ever I get a text from him saying I had been "really heavy on his heart lately and he knew I needed him." We have been together everyday since that text. He was there for me through the hardest time of my life when Mimi passed away on July 11th, and I'm so thankful he got to see her on her last good day in the hospital. And I'm so so thankful that she got to see us together again, she loved him so much and I know she is in heaven smiling down on us everyday. I'm so blessed to have him in my life and he couldn't have come at a better time. I'm so blessed to have his family in my life, I love them like they are my own and can't wait until they really are someday -hopefully soon ;) 

So, that's a little bit of our story.. Get ready to hear lots more! :)

Today I woke up too early for work and took my time getting ready, got to talk  to my boyfriend before work (always makes my day!) went to work, went to Bath & Body Works to look at their new fall/Halloween stuff and spent too much money :/ (in LOVE with their new Sweet Cinnamon Pumpkin scent and got the girls Vampire Blood hand sanitizer), stopped by the Great American Cookie Company and got their new pumpkin spice cookie and got Mom a cheesecake brownie and came home. I feel like I'm getting sick and fell asleep on the couch for 2 hours when I got home so now it is midnight and I'm WIDE AWAKE and starting a new blog :)

Hello Blogger world! I decided I would give this a try.. I was bored with my Tumblr (courelizw.tumblr.com), all I ever post on there are pictures from Instagram. So i decided to make a fresh start and a whole new blog, so here I am :) So, a little about me.. I'm 23 and well aware that i look about 16. I'm an only child and have the most amazing parents a girl could ever ask for, they have been together for 28 years. I am in love with the man of my dreams, my best friend, my first boyfriend, my soul mate, my high school sweetheart. I have had the same best friend since i was 5 years old and we will be friends until the very end. I am the Mom of an almost 4 year old Yorkshire Terrier, Jaxon. I am an Aunt to 3 beautiful girls: Audrey Jane, Gracie and Hayneslie.  I am a huge family girl with a really small family. I LOVE God, RockBridge Community Church, taking pictures, beach cruisers, true friends, good music, roadtrips, fall, abandoned houses, chapstick, antique stores, turquoise, anything vintage, nail polish, buttons, the beach, skeleton keys, love stories, random acts of kindness, passion tea from Starbucks, my Macbook, my Nikon, laying out and reading.. just to name a few :)
